We have 5 kids (the human kind) and 5 goats. (One of those is a kid. Three of them will be kidding soon. NOT kidding. Ha!) And we live on a little slice of heaven in Milam County Texas. Right on the edge of the hill country, easy access to Waco, Austin, Bryan/College Station, and Caldwell.  (A few more little towns you don’t know how to pronounce.)

We try to maintain a chicken flock of about 100 now, including layers, more than 20 breeds, and meat chickens too (Yes, it’s awful. Awfully yummy…. but still awful.)

We are first generation country folks.

We love all things homesteading, homeschooling, and self-sustainability. We are rebels through and through – in overalls.

We’d like to be able to do add fruit trees, berries, more veggies, turkeys, meat rabbits, and more…. But we’ll do our best to take it slow. Thanks for watching us during our wild ride!
